THIS ARTWORK

I love this colorful interpretation of the palm trees and foliage behind the right side of Kauai’s Moloa’a Bay. The shoreline is sheltered by a wide reef that opens into small swimming areas among the relatively calm turqoise water of the bay.

THE ORIGINAL

A 9 x 12 in. watercolor hand painted “en plein air” on Arches 100% cotton, 140lb. rough watercolor paper using Winsor & Newton’s artist grade colors and sea water from the actual location.
