The Hula Pineapple

from $65.00

ABOUT THIS PRINT

This series of pineapple illustrations is titled after the name Hawaiian’s gave the pineapple when it first arrived on the islands. “Hala Kahiki” roughly means “Foreign Fruit” and was coined because the pineapple reminded them of the native Hala. My illustrations celebrate the Islands’ many great activities, places and the cultural traditions with a little whimsy and a lot of Aloha!

PACKAGING

Each artwork is well protected in an archival mylar sleeve and shipped rolled in a cardboard tube.

PAPER

Each is made on the highest quality archival paper. I use Epson’s "Velvet", 100% cotton rag, buffered, and acid-free Fine Art Paper.

INKS

I only print using the archival Epson UltraChrome K3 Inks with Vivid Magenta ensuring the widest color range and permanence.

ABOUT FRAMING AND STORING YOUR ART

The high quality ink and paper ensure that your fine art print terrifically displays fine detail and a wonderful chromatic range that is guaranteed to last. I recommend the artworks remain in their acid-free packages until they can be safely framed behind UV filtering glass or plexiglass. Remember that nothing can protect your art from direct, continuous sun exposure! Park your art in the shade, y’all.
